SimBooster places a wide array of maintenance utilities at your disposal, which can help you keep your Mac in a good working condition. You can perform numerous operations with this application, including cleaning up your hard drive, locating and removing duplicate files, optimizing the machine's RAM and much more. You can install SimBooster in a few moments, like any other Mac OS X application and you won't have any difficulties getting used to its controls.

Options for preparing and executing the supported operations can be found on separate pages, which you can access via navigation tabs, located on the left side of the user interface. All you have to do is select the file types you wish to scan for and click a button. For example, if you wish to carry out a general system cleanup, you can target user and system caches, logs, language files, app leftovers and more.

The application is capable of scanning for the targeted file types quite fast. Once the operation is complete, it will list its findings, along with check boxes, so you may choose what files to keep or remove. In other cases, you only need to drag and drop one or more files over the user interface, rather than selecting file types.

The application comes with a special app remover, which removes installed applications, along with any files they leave behind. It also comes with a file shredder, which you can use to permanently delete files you don't want others to stumble upon. Once the files are shredded, recovering them will be impossible, regardless of the used application.
